When you do research on the Internet is Wikipedia your first stop? Lots of people rely on Google for most of their information even though they are aware that the "free web" is full of inaccurate, outdated, and often biased material. What they might not know is that we have another option to the free web. At TMS, we have access to 17 on-line databases and e-book collections that have been specifically chosen to help with our students' research needs. These resources are paid for by Frederick County Public Schools and require a username and password if they are used from students' homes. Are they better than Google? Let's see if we can find out.
